Those Broody Hens! Or Not!

Here at Barton Cottage Farm, we are trying to do things the old fashioned way. We are expanding our flock and want to add to it some breeds of chickens that are semi broody. It's important for the health and stability of our flock. I share a list of breeds that have that broodiness, share why some have had the broodiness bred right out of them and why having a broody hen is a good thing.
